Peter 'Aussie' LarsenSenior Coach
Pete has been instrumental in the on-field success at East Brighton since joining the Club in 2010 and that experience, people skills and footy know-how will be a tremendous asset to the collective playing group and coaches moving forward.
Paul 'Fossie' FosterSenior Assistant Coach
The East Brighton Football Netball Club are thrilled to announce Paul Foster as the Senior Assistant Coach for 2018.
Paul has a wealth of football knowledge and experience and because he was a Vampire junior and Reserves player, he would be a familiar face to some of the older Vampire supporters.
Paul has been involved with the Dingley Football Club as a junior and senior assistant coach where he was involved with the likes of Greg Scott, Adam Quinn, Darren Kappler and Shane Morwood and was involved in the Division 1 Reserves Premiership in 2014.
We welcome Paul back to the EBFNC and the players are looking forward to working with a seasoned and experienced football person.
Jason TicknerReserves Coach
Tickers is a premiership player at East Brighton (2002), former Reserves coach (2003) and U/19s Coach (2016). A P.E teacher Tickers brings his own developmental style to the Vampires coaching department. He believes It is crucial to have an easily understood and reliable communication style to ensure the players have a very good understanding of the game plan, game style and structures. He encourages players to enjoy their footy, play for their mates and be willing to sacrifice at training and in games.
Rebecca TicklesSenior Womens Coach
Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive football acumen to our developing team. Rebecca has previously played in the VFL women’s competition for the St Kilda Sharks in premier division where has also been an assistant coach. She also teaches at Star of the Sea College where she has been the head football coach for five years.
After coaching East Brighton’s under 18 team in 2016, she gained greater football education in the VFL as a defensive line coach with Melbourne University’s VFL team.
Rebecca has very strong values and has a passion for football and East Brighton. She believes in building strong relationships and nurturing individuals to achieve their goals as footballers and people.
After witnessing our women’s great talent and drive in 2017, she knows we can challenge for the premiership in 2018.
We look forward to season 2018 with Rebecca as our women’s coach.
Denny KaramoshosU19 Coach
While Denny’s playing career (with University Blues in the amateurs) was cut short due to injuries, he has spent many years coaching at East Brighton Vampires Junior Football Club, starting in the Auskick ranks before coaching junior boys. As a local resident, he has also successfully coached teams at Brighton Soccer club and Brighton Wolves Basketball club.
Denny is passionate about football and is excited about the prospect of developing a successful Under 19s program with the senior Vampires club. He brings a strong focus on team ethic and leadership, which is important with a group of maturing young men.
We look forward to the beginning of an ongoing and successful pathway for players from the junior club into senior football with The Vampires.
