The East Brighton Football Netball Club is pleased to announce the signing of the following personnel for Season 2018 :

Paul Foster – Senior Assistant Coach.

Paul has a wealth of football knowledge and experience and because he was a Vampire junior and Reserves player, he would be a familiar face to some of the older Vampire supporters.

Paul has been involved with the Dingley Football Club as a junior and senior assistant coach where he was involved with the likes of Greg Scott, Adam Quinn, Darren Kappler and Shane Morwood and was involved in the Division 1 Reserves Premiership in 2014. We welcome Paul back to the EBFNC and the players are looking forward to working with a seasoned and experienced football person.

We welcome Codie Smith to the senior playing ranks for the 2018 season.  Codie is an Half Back/Midfielder who is both hard and smart and supporters will see him play in the back half with his high level decision making and skill level. Codie is a premiership player for the The Hermit Park Tigers in 2012 and has also Captained the Gunghalin Jets for 2 years and has also played high level footy in Townsville and Canberra. Codie is a Essendon supporter who works in Property and came to the club courtesy of mate and ex Vampire, Will Hetherington.  Welcome to the club Codie, great to have you on board.

The second player signing for 2018, Nathan Foster. Nathan comes to the EBFNC courtesy of the Heatherton Football Club and joins the club with his father, Senior Assistant Coach Paul Foster.

Nathan has played the last two years in the Seniors at Heatherton where his athleticism and high work rate saw attention from opposing clubs as they looked to shut him out of the game. Nathan is highly skilled, versatile and as a 20 year old, a wonderful addition to the young list the club already has. Welcome Nathan, the club is looking forward to a bright future with you on board.

We are also delighted to announce the third player signing for the 2018 season, Blake Cochrane. Blake has arrived at East Brighton FNC fresh from a top 10 finish in his first senior year at the Heatherton Football Club. Blake played his junior footy at the Cheltenham Panthers and quickly established himself as a senior player in the SFL with his high skill level and outstanding aerobic fitness. He has a strong build for a young player and although he can play multiple positions, he is looking to play through the midfield and up forward. Welcome to the EBFNC Blake, you will be a fantastic addition to the club.

Our fourth signing for the coming season is Kyle Gray. Our fourth signing for 2018 is Kyle Gray. Kyle is best mates with current player Ryan Stringer and also a mate of Kai Love-Linay and comes to us courtesy of the VFL side Frankston Dolphins FC where he has been listed for the coming season. Kyle will play for the Mighty Vamps when not on Dolphins duties.

Kyle has played in the TAC Cup competition with the Dandenong Stingrays, the VFL competition with both Frankston (2 years where he finished top five in the Best and Fairest) and Williamstown where he excelled playing in the back half. Not only does Kyle read the play extremely well, he is an elite talent and the EBFNC are both fortunate and thrilled that he’s signed on as his second club.  Welcome to the EBFNC Kyle!
