The EBFNC are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Kahofer as Senior Coach for Season 2020.
After a lengthy and challenging process that included several quality applicants, Andrew “AK” is preparing to bring his brand of coaching and game plan to Senior Men’s football at Hurlingham Park.
A bit about AK Andy his football journey.  He played all his junior football at St Kilda City right up to U/18’s. Senior football – played at Old Caulfield Grammarians FC for a number of years, Oakleigh in the VFA and and then moved to Parkdale Seagulls in the Southern Football League Premier Division in 1995 and be part of a premiership team beating Noble Park.
He found himself in a non-active footy position for around 12 years as he lived and worked in overseas locations, including the USA as part of his professional career.
Andrew has been heavily involved in executive committee roles, including that of South Caulfield Cricket Club where he’s still involved both on field and off.
Andrew has been involved with football consistently again since 2013 and has been involved in some good programs in recent years at Caulfield Grammarians (A Grade VACA) and Ormond ( C Grade VAFA) and along the way also enjoyed the fruits of hard work with premiership success.
AK is a self-employed Project Director, and is involved with many interesting professional opportunities. Outside of football, he is a rock n roll enthusiast, in a band that has a strong profile and enjoy the opportunity to engage in my creative side.
He is really looking forward to getting into pre-season, and also to meeting all the current and new players as we will be growing as we move toward round 1 next season.
There will be a “ Meet the coach” gathering soon so please watch this space.
Please join us in welcoming Andrew to the Mighty Vampires!
